Exterior Cladding materials impacting design

Meet Tim Seims of Nichiha as he discusses build design with exterior cladding materials.

Tim Seims of Nichiha on his discussion of impacting build designs throughout exterior cladding materials. Utilizing the performance and design flexibility of our fibre cement rain-screen cladding system, we help commercial developers, home owners, architects, designers, and city planners achieve design intent while meeting or beating the budget and construction schedule. The unique clip system and panel format are designed for factory, site, or hybrid installation and compete well with brick, stone, ACM, terra cotta, thin fiber cement, wood, phenolic resin, high gloss metal, aluminum planks, EIFS, stucco, and architectural concrete. For Nichiha, modular, offsite, and/or prefab accounts for over $250 million US dollars a year in Japan and North America. Leveraging that experience, we have solved many of the broad design and go-to-market challenges here in the Americas. Now we are looking for developers and manufacturers who are looking to collaborate on their specific needs so we can, together, deliver a modular building envelope solution as efficient as framing or FF&E.

“Onsite installation with off-site building. Exterior cladding materials are changing the design of building.”
